Our Take on the 1991 Lexus ES250 Base
A high point in the sedan market is the Lexus ES250. In 1991 Lexus rolled out an upgraded version of the ES250 with one versions: Base. Sales for the ES250, especially the ES250 Base, were brisk during 1991 and 1992. The improved reliability and the updated styling were responsible for the increased interest.
1991 Lexus ES250 Base Specs
The restyled ES250 Base is equipped with a 2.5-liter six-cylinder engine that utilizes 24 valves. The engine is mated to a Toyota four-speed transaxle. This has resulted in an increase in horsepower and torque over the 1990 version.
The fuel system for the 1991 ES250 is a MPI system, running on gasoline . The fuel is regulated by an electronic system and is a fuel-injected MFI design.
The front brakes are disc while the rear brakes are disc. Steering is handled through a power-steering rack-style configuration. The ES250 uses power-assisted brakes, with 4-Wheel ABS support. Load balancing is provided by coil front springs and coil in the rear.

Fuel Efficiency
The ES250 Base received a miles-per-gallon rating of eighteen in-city driving and twenty four when it came to highway driving. Being a gas-powered non-hybrid car, this was within normal parameters.
