There have been several award-winning cars from Lexus over the years, including the Lexus SC300 of 1994. There are one trim levels to the SC300, including Base. The Base version is one of the more popular options, outselling other configurations. Like in 1993 the popular 3.0 liter has made this a popular choice for coupe buyers nationwide.
A lot has been said about the Lexus SC300 for 1997. As Lexus's entry in the coupe market the SC300 (and in this case specically the Base version) has maintained a solid reputation. The 2-door SC300 is especially appealing to wide market segment, making it a perfect car to help Lexus as a brand in general.
The restyled SC300 Base is equipped with a 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine that utilizes 24 valves. The engine is mated to a Toyota four-speed transmission. This has resulted in an increase in horsepower and torque over the 1992 version.
The restyled RX400h Base is equipped with a 3.3-liter six-cylinder engine that utilizes 24 valves. The engine is mated to a N/A four-speed transaxle. This has resulted in an increase in horsepower and torque over the 2007 version.
