There have been several award-winning cars from Lexus over the years, including the Lexus ES300 of 1997. There are one trim levels to the ES300, including Base. The Base version is one of the more popular options, outselling other configurations. Like in 1996 the popular 3.0 liter has made this a popular choice for sedan buyers nationwide.
A lot has been said about the Lexus ES300 for 2001. As Lexus's entry in the sedan market the ES300 (and in this case specically the Base version) has maintained a solid reputation. The 4-door ES300 is especially appealing to wide market segment, making it a perfect car to help Lexus as a brand in general.
The restyled ES300 Base is equipped with a 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine that utilizes 24 valves. The engine is mated to a Toyota four-speed transaxle. This has resulted in an increase in horsepower and torque over the 1995 version.
A high point in the sedan market is the Lexus ES300. In 1993 Lexus rolled out an upgraded version of the ES300 with one versions: Base. Sales for the ES300, especially the ES300 Base, were brisk during 1993 and 1994. The improved reliability and the updated styling were responsible for the increased interest.
